What is the best time to visit São Tomé?
São Tomé is a tropical destination that can be visited year-round. The dry season (June to September) has less rain and is ideal for hiking. The rainy season (October to May) brings out the greenest vegetation on the island and is the turtle nesting season. Each season has its own unique charm!
Do I need a car to explore the island?
It's not mandatory, but having a car offers greater flexibility. We offer full car rental services as well as guided tours with transportation included. If you prefer to explore independently, we recommend renting a car. The main roads are in good condition, but some rural areas can be challenging.
Are the tours suitable for children?

São Tomé is considered one of the safest destinations in Africa. Crime is low and the local population is very welcoming. As with any tourist destination, we recommend taking normal precautions such as not leaving valuables in plain sight and being attentive to your belongings.
What is the cancellation policy?
We offer a full refund for cancellations made 7 days or more in advance. For cancellations made between 3-7 days prior, a 50% fee applies. Cancellations made less than 3 days prior are non-refundable. In case of extreme weather conditions, we offer rescheduling or a full refund.
